Officer Requirements
Officers are required to read and respond on the forums.

Officers are required to schedule events that push the guilds progression.

Officers are required to attend meetings on Ventrillo to discuss guild issues.

When a vote is required on guild issues Officers are required to vote. Once a decision has been made the Officers are required to uphold the decision.

If a member does not comply with a decision the officers will discuss the removal or suspension of that member from the guild.

Member Requirements
Members are required to respect each other. This means everyone needs to be friendly to each other regardless of nationality, age, gender or religion. This is an adult guild and discussions are ok, but harassing other guild members is not.

Never insult a guild member that is asking a question. This guild spans every type of player experience. We hope that the newer folks will glean tremendous experience from our more seasoned veterans and this can only be done by asking questions.

Be helpful to your fellow guild members. This means trying to help them with anything regarding World of Warcraft.

Remember that you carry the guilds name above your head at all times. Be proud of being a member of Impulse and try to be friendly and helpful to all other players, not only the ones in your guild. Professional behavior reflects on the guild just as inappropriate behavior will reflect badly on the guild. We do not want this.

Members are required to listen to Officers and Raid leaders during Guild events. Members are encouraged to participate during scheduled guild events. 24/7 Playtime is not required but the majority of a members game time should be spent working towards making the guild better so the guild becomes stronger.

In order to be fair to all guilds, when it comes to your play time, all of your raiding characters must be a part of Impulse. It is not fair to anyone to split your time amongst guilds.

Guild hoppers are not welcome; our guild is based on long term friendship.

New Recruits will automatically have the rank Initiate when they first join the guild. They will be promoted to Raiding Member by the Guild Master once they have proven to be active, friendly and helpful (no more than 30 days). The Guild Officers will observe the progress of a new guild member and report to the Guild Master if they think a member should be promoted. If you have not proven yourself helpful after 30 days it is possible that you might be removed from the guild.

In the same way in which players are invited to join the guild, they might be removed from it due to inappropriate behavior or breaking any of the Guild Rules. Players will receive at least one warning before being directly removed from the guild.   Players that recieve a warning are not eligible for promotions until they come off of the warning and may even have their status demoted depending on the infraction.

To simplify maintenance, players who are inactive for longer than 2 months will be removed from the guild, unless they have reported their absence to the Guild Master or a Guild Officer before leaving. They may join the guild again at any time if they return to World of Warcraft and are to speak to the Guild Master or a Guild Officer for this purpose.
